Graduate school enigma

The thing about being a graduate student is that you can spend all your time wondering if this is really the field that you want to go into, and not enough time experiencing other aspects of being in your 20's.   Like how many times have I asked myself "is this me in 10 years?" But here is the thing, most people won't spend that much time in one particular place.  This means that during those 10 years that you are looking into the future, you will probably change your career at least three times.  Thats not a bad thing, it just means that you are experiencing life differently than your parents did say 20 years ago.  Being apart of this new generation of 20-30 years olds is not a horrible notion, it just means that we have to adapt differently to the world than generations prior.  Don't get caught up in the should-a would-a could-a, odds are you are going to get there, eventually.
